Privacy Policy
Who we are
Webbmedia Group, LLC, doing business as Future Today Strategy Group (“FTSG”), 30 W 21st St, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10010, USA. We control the personal data described here. Contact: support@ftsg.com.
What we collect
-
From you: your name, email address, organization, job title, and country.
-
When you buy: Stripe gives us your name, email, billing country, what you bought, and the amount. We never see your card number.
-
Your choices: records of what you agreed to on our pages, including the wording, date and time, IP address, and country.
-
Site and email use: IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, which we use for security and cookieless traffic statistics; whether you open or click our marketing emails; and, if you use the MCP connection, when and how often it’s used, for security and license enforcement.
The form requires these details to unlock the report. Marketing emails are optional.
Why we use it, and our legal basis (EU/UK)
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Give you the article or report you asked for, and keep you signed in | Contract, or legitimate interests (delivering requested content) |
| Send research and event invitations to people who opted in | Consent |
| Send buyers updates about similar FTSG research, unless they opt out | Legitimate interests (existing customers) |
| Keep tax, payment, and consent records | Legal obligation |
| Count visits and produce aggregate reports, such as readers by industry and country, that identify no one | Legitimate interests |
| Keep our sites secure | Legitimate interests |
We make no automated decisions about you that have legal or similar effects.
Who receives it
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use advertising pixels or cross-site tracking. We share data only with:
- the service providers that run our sites, email, and payments, acting on our instructions: Mailchimp (Intuit), HubSpot, Stripe, PostHog, Postmark, Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare, and Google Workspace
- professional advisers
- authorities, where the law requires
- a buyer of our business
International transfers
We and our providers are in the United States. Transfers from the EU, UK, and Switzerland rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions, with the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum as backup. Ask us for a copy.
How long we keep it
-
Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, or after 24 months without engagement.
-
Free-article access accounts: deleted 24 months after your last visit.
-
Consent records: kept for as long as you’re on our list, plus 3 years.
-
Purchase records: kept for 7 years for tax purposes.
After you opt out, we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data, or send it to another company
- correct it
- delete it
- restrict or object to its use
You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time, using the link in every email. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything we did before. To make a request, email support@ftsg.com with “Privacy” in the subject. We respond within one month in the EU and UK, and within 45 days elsewhere. We honor these requests everywhere, including from US and Nevada residents.
Complaints
Please contact us first, with “Privacy” in the subject. We acknowledge every complaint within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK, that is the Information Commission.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: they keep the site secure and keep you signed in to content you bought. Our traffic statistics come from PostHog, running in cookieless mode: it sets no cookies, doesn’t identify you, and doesn’t track you across sites. PostHog also estimates which company a visit comes from, using the IP address; that estimate isn’t linked to your name or email. Because we use no optional cookies, there is no cookie banner. Stripe sets its own security cookies on its checkout page.
Do Not Track
We don’t track you across sites, so our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Children
Our sites are not directed to anyone under 16.
Changes
We’ll update the effective date and version. Before a material change takes effect, we’ll notify you by email.
